![]() Is there any way to have the "subtitle cc -> lossy conversion" entry unchecked for every title by default? I just picked up 3 seasons of a TV series at Goodwill and having to manually uncheck that from each episode is gonna be a pain in the have a large Hong Kong 1980s-90s film collection on mostly blurays and some dvd that I am in the process of ripping the MKV files (MakeMKV) and the mp4 (Handbrake) and saving the movies onto my Sandisk Extreme Pro 4TB external SSD, but I am running into this issue where after I have saved the files, I will take a look a few days later and notice that the movie files are gone without a trace even though I saw them there and opened them just previously. another troubleshooting step I took for that issue was rebooting the PC and after I did that the disc did in fact open, but it still failed to save the movie, so I'm wondering if de-selecting lossy subtitle will work. anybody else noticing this with the new version? now i'm wondering if that blu-ray I was having issues with will work if I unselect the lossy conversion subtitles. Only after I started to manually uncheck that subtitle then the titles started to save correctly. it did not resolve that issue and in fact every disc (both DVD and blu-ray) I've tried ripping since then has failed to save titles and it turns out that it's due to the subtitle cc -> lossy conversion option. 1 of the things I mentioned is that I was running v 1.17.2 of MakeMKV so I decided to run the 1.17.3 installer to see if it would resolve that issue. So, about a week and a half ago I posted this thread about issues opening a blu-ray disc.
